Today the 151 trudged PAINFULLY along the freaking long route it takes. I had the worst case of motion sickness ever and it took a lot of deep breaths to keep myself from puking out breakfast which was hovering at my throat. That coupled with stabs of reminders that i was on a public bus and there's no where for me to vomit. I had a plastic bag, i even thought of it, but forced myself to a happy non-jerking, non-moving, non-rocking place because regurgitating your breakfast into a plastic bag in a public bus is beyond disgusting.Portraying his inner mafia-meets- hiphop-and-bad-shades look. Bad jam forced the bus to keep moving and halting and moving and halting at crazy intervals, sent my stomach reeling and i was soooo tempted to jump of the bus and dash to the nearest toilet. Except i was late for today's exams!! Bumped into YG on the bus, thank goodness, so we dashed to the exam venue together and made it out alive. My next exam is on Saturday followed by a mad dash to the finish on Thursday. I decided i was sick of studying so i went to catch The Forbidden Kingdom with nickypoo. Yes, if you really think about it, the plot's really simple and the narrative is rather stupid but who cares! KUNGFU YEAH! Turkish food for lunch, except i was still feeling after effects of motion sickness and had to settle with smelling the yummy pide pizza ![]() ![]() deciding to invest in some Jodi Picoult books and bought 3. Shall read all her books over the rest of the year. Sleepy boy fell asleep during the movie!! anyway, i think i am starting to enjoy soci. Honestly, level 1 modules are totally not for me. i absolutely hate level 1 modules. Below, some answers from a survey on Why would you want to visit a zoo. See reply #13 ![]() Sharon and I looked at each other and unanimously agreed that the answer belonged to ZQ. HAHA! ![]() damn stapler got me. JOSH, the one who goes "KNN WE SUCK!", channeling his inner mafia-meets- hiphop-and-bad-shades look. I totally burst out in laughter when he whipped out his tres cool shads. It has a letter P on the side and when i asked him what it stood for, or what brand it was, Josh replied, "P ah. P for penis lor." HAHHAHWTF. Josh thinks again and goes, "P, P for Prince!" Satisfied he decides to ignore my bursts of laughter. ![]() ![]() ![]() yg and his arm. Last look at josh! ![]() HAHAHAHHAHAHAH. Poker Party soon! Labels: School

AM SO EXCRUCIATINGLY BORED.![]() ![]() ![]() A frog named after me: I am getting very disturbed by how Survivor is playing out. Tracy with thy fake mammaries is such a backstabbing, double-crossing bitch, eyes wide open. Why are the guys being such spineless, passive idiots!! :( damnnn. Anyway I'm getting really sick of 'studying' and the exams havent even started. :( :( It's good that my exams are relatively nicely spread out, but that means my agony is going to prolonged. UGH i cannot wait for my exams to end...2 more weeks just 2 more weeks. Im starting to feel suffocated being cooped up at home with dreary notes. and just today, i found out that i cant concentrate anymore. i feel like there are little people running around constantly in my head and making me feel busy. My legs are shaking vigorously for no reason and i just feel short of breath. it this a sigh of an anxiety attack or am i at the brink of insanity? haha. Havent even been studying that much to begin with. ![]() see the evil glint in amelia's eyes. love is a horse with a broken leg trying to stand while 45,000 people watch - Charles Bukowski, a definition Interesting perspective isnt it? I was thinking about it for a while and i realise that this could go 2 ways. 1) the horse manages to stand 2) The horse gives up.

Friday, characterized with free remnants of strawberry and cheesecake ice cream scraped off the sides of the serving container with a wooden stick and swallowed haphazardly. Pieces of cheesecake crust stuck in the crevices of teeth, washed down with warm water. If life is like a box of chocolates it must be like choosing an ice-cream flavour too. Most of the time we settle for the familiar taste of chocolate or vanilla while being harassed by the barrage of newer, fresher flavours of indulgence. The alcohol in it makes the ice-cream softer and smoother as it licks down your throats. in your ice-cream stupor, all you will feel is the cold.![]() ![]() ![]() $10 spent to capture a reluctant smile, an obligatory upward curve double-sided taped on. You pay an extra $3 to get it written on a CD-Rom. The photographer sticks her finger in your hair, tells you, "No, no. Messy messy." Wields the shutter and tells you to look up, "Don't look down, don't look down!" You hardly have time to register the flash as it captures your lop-sided parting of the lips and sleepy eyes. It's done. You now have a moment in time, a standstill at a juncture in your life - and you only paid $10, $13 if you wanted the CD-Rom too. ![]() These fleeting moments will come and go. if not, you will have to learn to let go. ![]() ![]() Labels: Thoughts

You know i start to blog incessantly when exams are coming...So, i am ill. I have caught the flu bug with traces of fever. My mom is sick, Andrew is sick and i think basically the house is breathing with germs so damn this shit! I hate being sick, and i wasnt the one who started passing the germs around :( Being sick is rather miserable, i wish i had a personal servant to serve me chamomile tea and massage my toes while i laze in a deck chair watching tv, rather i am gently flipping through my notes attempting to study. Yesterday, anyhow, i bought myself $4 of fun. was this not the coolest thing ever back in the good old days? My sister NEVER allowed me touch hers, it was like SO COOL everybody wanted to have one and everybody used it like no tomorrow. And unless you're 15 and you're reading this, dont tell me you dont know what it is... ![]() The coolest label maker which required you to turn the dial to your desired letter and just give the lever a little squeeze. This miraculous thing produces an EMBOSSED label! Come on, this is just the coolest thing ever. So simple, so good. Life should have remained like that. I think i spent close to an hour in the bookshop. I adore stationary shopping, is it not like a weird hobby? Normally i dont actually buy anything, i just love looking at all the cute pencils and notebooks and weird contraptions stationary makers come up with. I am actually kinda blissfully happy that i found one of those label makers. It's become like an assurance, that no matter how fast this mad world is going, some of the best things still remain. A quiet remembrance of the past. And if you've never seen freeze-dried broccoli here it is. It came with some instant Japanese Curry. Does it not look kinda gross! But it is so ingenious. We should start freeze-drying everything, saves food, saves resources and saves time. Just add hot water and you get good ole broccoli! ![]() On borrowed time... i hope it wasnt my fault.

*&%%$ I HATE PROJECT WORKMAINLY IT HAS TO DO WITH STUPID TEAM MATES WHO DONT FINISH THEIR PART ON TIME, PRODUCE HALF ASS SHIT, LACK THE INITAITIVE AND CONSIDERATION TO PUT IN A BIT MORE EFFORT AND GO FOR LECTURES, DONT GIVE CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS BUT TALK A LOT OF SHIT, NEED TO BE BABIED THE ENTIRE TIME, NEED 10 MILLION REMINDERS BUT STILL DONT FOLLOW THEM. so the saying goes that common sense is not common. so cliched yet makes so much sense. 20 years old and no sense of responsibility, no sense of shame. Being anal is not a bad thing. Labels: School

It's not always about you.today something hit a raw nerve in me. Some people live to reget, some people live in regret. You can't turn back time, but you have a definite stake in the future, the present, tomorrow. In the general scheme of things it is never about ourselves. Sometimes we get too self-absorbed with our own egos, mollycoddling while at the same time giving excuses to nurse its bruising. Yes, we all hurt, it's painful, show me some love, i deserve some attention. In a bigger perspective, we don't deserve it. We shouldnt expect people to put aside everything else to baby us. Sometimes in life we just got to suck it up, or give up. If you choose the former, i applaud you for your bravery. It is hard. It is very hard.
Anyway, i caught the white-washed version of Shutter the other day and holycrap it SUCKED. Please don't watch it if you've already watched the Thai version. If you haven't watched the original, please go and borrow or rent it. GEEZ. i cant believe i paid $10 to watch some cheap re-make of Shutter. I was half-bored and so disappointed with it. On the other hand, i also got to watch UNTRACEABLE. THIS I DEFINITELY THINK YOU SHOULD WATCH. Besides the very Saw-esque storyline with gory murders and unthinkable, torturous ways to kill people, it has a very pertinent social message. [ yes i warn you first. knn i was damn traumatised because i didnt know i was walking into this] During the Edison Chen Scandal, i was extremely mortified that people were going around unbashedly and blatantly requesting for the photos and mass sharing them on a voluntary basis. To me it was beyond thinkable. It was shameful act and i hate the way people were glorifying and objectifying the subjects. it was just another cheap entertainment to most but did anybody spare a thought for the victims? A lot said that they deserved it, but most didnt give a second thought. They just joined in on the fun and continued to mass share, mass send and what not. Nobody stopped to question the morality. Untraceable touches upon this - since when has humanity become so desansitised to such things? Getting a kick out of people's misfortune and not sparing a thought for others. It never occured to us that our actions were so animalistic and destructive. Everybody was doing it. Some dont care because it's the internet. The internet is such that we have become faceless, we can do unscrupable things without a moral conscious. Whatever is uploaded onto the internet becomes the world's propety. Yes, perhaps we are talking about the lack of apathy on different levels - One is about naked photos, porn - UNTRACEABLE is about killing people online, streaming live. Obviously when you look at it, the bottomline is still the same isn't it? There are inhumane people around. There are apathetic people around. Will we ever know when to stop? Technology is getting more advanced every single day, instead of a Big Brother, there is a growing base of Little Brothers surveying and watching our every single move. Is society not scary and viscious enough? When is privacy going to start to matter? When will people start to realise their collective actions question the basis of humanity. Labels: Thoughts

IS THIS THE MOST BORING SATURDAY!Ok, well i guess i wouldnt count it boring, technically. Because i did go to the zoo in the morning with sharon and yanguang - strictly for educational purposes. We only had time to coo at the Orang Utans and smell zebra poo before we had to leave. That, and interviewing some malaysians, an australian women on conference in singapore, an american NTU PR lecturer, a british and an african wildlife park keeper. it was tres cool - how lucky were we! I sat down to type out some notes and i think my head is spinning and i cant breath properly. I thought i was just feeling 'sian' but maybe i'm tired. so i'm going to finish my miso soup and sleep before 12am which is a record!!!!!!!!!!! btw i am very amazed with freeze-dried food products. Is it not cool how you can freeze tofu, seaweed, spring onion, potato cubes, mushrooms, brocolli - add hot water and they fluff out! I LOVE INSTANT JAPANESE FOOD! Speaking of food, i cant believe how much the cost of food items have risen. It's AMAZING. Inflation is evil, it is killing people. :( No, but i am politically apathetic. I want to talk about false eyelashes now and ppl have finally uploaded their photos! yay! ![]() THIS PAIR OF FALSE EYELASHES WERE LABELED NATURAL??? Your eyelashes machiam like that i really don't know what to say man...can you see properly? ![]() one of those pictures were everybody has a funny expression on their face... from char's iphone. more shots from our performance at sentosa cove and me and amelia hiding in a paper bag: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() everybody trying to be a fish on the left, jil is a SHARK!! and everybody is just weird heehoo ![]() AMELIA AND I IN A PAPER BAG!!!!! :D last but not the least, help me to do a survey on tourism.
